I am deeply passionate about the principles of counselling and the EFT model. As a Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist and Supervisor (EFT) for both individuals and couples, as well as a Certified Gottman Therapist, I bring a depth of knowledge and experience to my work. Beyond my clinical practice, I am committed to supporting other professionals in their counselling journeys, helping them grow in confidence, skill, and self-awareness.
Supervision is a collaborative process where we work together to enhance your therapeutic skills, deepen your
understanding of EFT, and ensure you feel supported in both your professional and personal well-being. In our work
together, we will focus on several key areas:
Therapists give so much of themselves in their work, and it’s important to check in on how this impacts daily life.
Supervision is a space to explore how you are balancing your role as a therapist with your own well-being.
We reflect on how you make room for yourself outside of work and address any challenges that might arise.
Prioritizing self-care not only enhances personal fulfillment but also strengthens therapeutic effectiveness,
ensuring you can show up fully for your clients.
Reviewing and discussing session recordings can be one of the most valuable tools in supervision.
Together, we examine strengths and challenges in your tapes, identifying areas where you may feel stuck
or where patterns emerge that make it difficult to stay fully engaged in a session. Just as important
as identifying challenges is recognizing and reinforcing what you are doing well—knowing what to lean into
allows for continued growth and refinement of your skills.
Role-playing is a powerful way to practice skills, address stuck points, and gain new insights.
We can switch roles so you experience both the therapist and client perspective, which often leads to
a renewed understanding of how to navigate future sessions. These experiential exercises provide
real-time feedback and help integrate new strategies into your work.
Just as in therapy, I believe that summarizing key takeaways at the end of each supervision session is essential.
I provide a clear reflection on the strengths I see in your work, along with targeted tools and insights to help you refine
your approach. This structure allows for continued learning and integration between sessions, supporting your growth
as a therapist.
Supervision is more than just professional development—it’s a space for reflection, support, and connection. My goal is
to create an environment where you feel encouraged, challenged, and inspired to deepen your work as a therapist.
If you are interested in supervision, I’d love to connect and support you on your therapist journey.
